Jiezi Chen
Jiezi Chen, born in October 1963 in the vibrant city of Shanghai, is an accomplished artist and educator. His artistic journey began in 1995 at the Shanghai Arts and Crafts School, transitioning to the Shanghai Arts and Crafts Vocational College in 2003. Over the years, Chen has been recognized for his contributions to digital arts education. In 2008, he received the title of “Distinguished Education Expert” from Apple. Since 2009, he has served as the Vice Dean of the Digital Arts School at Shanghai Arts and Crafts Vocational College. In addition to his academic role, Chen has actively shaped the multimedia landscape in Shanghai. Elected as the Deputy Director of the Shanghai Multimedia Industry Terminal Technology Committee in 2012, he has contributed to the growth of the multimedia terminal sector in the region. Chen’s commitment to advancing digital arts education extends nationally, serving as the Secretary-General of the Digital Arts Research Association of China Vocational Education since 2013. In 2014, he was recognized as an “Education Master” by the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission. Chen’s influence in the field of arts education extends to his role as Deputy Director of the Instructional Committee for Cultural and Art Major Teaching in Shanghai Higher Vocational Colleges since 2016. Additionally, he serves as the Chief Commissioner of the Teaching Research Center for Modern Services in Vocational Education and Art Education under the China Association of Vocational and Technical Education.
