Edward Humphrey
Edward Humphrey, an Archibald Portrait Prize Finalist (2020), was born in Ku-ring-gai, 1998. Humphrey is a newly established artist who contributes to the debate around societal behaviours, relevance and attitudes. Humphrey created Reapplism where he could successfully contribute his political, cultural anthropological (ethnological), environmental and personal contexts using over 14 styles, techniques and movements; Abstraction, Abstract-Expressionism, Abstract-Realism, Abstract-Photorealism, Calligraphy, Collage, En Plein Air, Life-Drawing, Minimalism, Photo Montage, Photorealism, Pointillism, Realism and Reapplism to push beyond the boundaries of concepts, ideas, techniques, methods, processes and comprehension-knowledge.
