Beric Henderson

Beric Henderson has a background in both art and science, and this duality has strongly influenced the art he creates. He has been painting for many years and has contributed to over 80 exhibitions in Australia and overseas. His full-time artistic practice includes painting, drawing, and 3-dimensional painting on layers of clear Perspex. He employs these diverse techniques to explore the dynamic and transformative nature of the world around us, as well as to investigate the process of creation and our relationship with the natural environment and the oceans. Currently, he lives and works in Port Macquarie on the NSW mid-North coast, where much of his art is inspired by the nearby rainforest and ocean.
