‘Land and Sea’ opens Rochfort Gallery in the spirit of the great exhibition halls of Europe in the 1900s.

Rochfort Gallery is a dedicated space for Australian Art that allows established and emerging artists and artisans exposure on a scale rarely found outside of a museum context.

COLLECTION ONE

Friday 23rd February - Easter Monday 2nd April

In this opening exhibition, some artists are terrestrial, gravitating to the magnetic power of the earth.

Others follow the intricate meandering line of river tributaries or identify with the secret depths and primal force of the ocean.

There is no “typical Australian scene”, instead, our native forests and farmed paddocks all serve to patch together a contrast of extremes.
