Warwick Fuller
Little Hartley, NSW is a realm of mountains and big skies, in this monumental terrain Warwick Fuller has his studio. Noted as an official artist for two Royal Tours, Fuller travelled and painted extensively with his majesty Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall. As a consequence of this remarkable opportunity the works of Warwick Fuller now reside in the collection of the Royal Family. Fuller has dedicated over four decades to painting Australia. His career has been the subject of a documentary and two books: “It’s the Light” and “Interpretations”, a collaboration between himself and the poet and journalist Sean Murphy. Fuller’s signatures are a bold impasto way with oil and a faithful and skilled recreation of the transience of light. Be it dusk on a mountain range or the filtered glow of sunlight on the Maroochy River, his work is that of the kindred spirit, loyal to the beauty of his chosen terrain.
